The user will then want to save the parameters because the unit will reset in order
to TFTP.

The final step is to enter the command “Reset” and press the enter key. This will
reboot the radio and initiate a TFTP file transfer.
9.4. Manual TFTP Transfer Using Button
If the Telnet session should become inaccessible, there is a button on the interior
of the unit which can be used to initiate a TFTP transfer manually. To use it, reset
the device with the button pressed. This will set the following variables:
IP address of radio: 192.168.26.4
IP gateway of radio: 192.168.26.1
IP address of the TFTP server: 192.168.26.9
From there, the unit will initiate a TFTP transfer and reset automatically. The user
would need to setup a computer running a TFTP server program such as TFTP32
which can be found here:
http://tftpd32.jounin.net/tftpd32_download.html
tftpd32 standard edition (zip)
The user will want to set the IP address of the computer running this software to
192.168.26.9.
9.5. Final steps
Once the TFTP transfer is complete, the unit will automatically reboot and launch
the new firmware. The user can then initiate a Telnet session with the old IP
address and settings, or quickly reboot the radio and use the ‘reset to defaults’
function to reset the IP address to 192.168.26.4.
