2.8 The IP Camera Interface
Uses
The IP Camera interface is used to provide HQi operators with
the ability to monitor local or remote IP cameras or other RTSP
video streams.
You can configure multiple IP Camera interfaces and then give
HQi clients the ability to view the streams. Clients will be able to
view multiple cameras at a time, as seen in Figure 2-8.
Explanation of Fields
•
Name
o
Something to identify the Camera stream by.
•
Camera Stream Address
o
The link to the camera’s RTSP or HTTP
stream.
•
Username and Password
o
If the stream requires credentials, you can
enter them here or, if you know the proper
format for providing them in the URL, you can
provide it in the stream address.
