▪ PWC driver will tow the Super Shuttle to meet the moving Parasail Boat in open water.
▪
All riders MUST stay seated and follow directions of Crew Members while the Super Shuttle is
underway.
Dock/Pier Boarding Procedure:
▪ Use extreme caution when maneuvering and docking the Shuttle to the Dock/Pier.
▪ Position and secure the Shuttle to the Dock/Pier using appropriate bumpers and dock lines.
▪ Before boarding passengers, double check tow harness lines and all components for signs of
wear, damage or potential failure.
▪
Temperatures can affect air pressure in all inflatable watercraft. Periodically check for correct
Air Pressure in all Shuttle Tubes using the provided RAVE Digital Air Pressure Gauge:
•
3 Main Yellow Tubes: 1.25 to 1.5 PSI (each)
•
2 Blue Foot Support Tubes: 2.00 to 2.5 PSI (each)
▪ Do not allow anyone to board the Super Shuttle without wearing a proper fitting U.S. Coast
Guard approved Type III Life Vest (PFD).
▪ Before boarding the Shuttle, Crew members MUST instruct all Riders about safety during the
Shuttle and Boat Transfer processes. Riders should be familiar with the process to safely
execute transfers on the water, as directed by the Boat Captain and Crew members.
▪ Board and exit the Super Shuttle in a manner that is appropriate for your specific dock/pier.
▪ Step carefully onto Shuttle. Crew members should assist.
▪ Sit only on the CENTER Tube in a numbered seating position as directed by Crew member.
▪
Sit upright, facing forward. Lean slightly forward. Firmly grasp Rider handle with both hands.
Place both feet flat on the blue foot support tubes.
▪ Once all Riders are secure, wearing PFDs and in correct seating positions, Crew member will
disconnect Shuttle from dock/pier and use hand signals to alert the PWC driver to proceed.
▪
PWC driver should slowly take up any slack on the tow line and slowly turn the Shuttle
towards open water. Be extremely cautious to ensure the Shuttle is fully clear of all obstacles
before accelerating.
