11.0 USE OF THE LIFTING DEVICE
CARRY OUT A DAILY CHECK OF
MAINTAINED-TYPE CONTROLS
CORRECT FUNCTIONING, BEFORE
STARTING MACHINE OPERATION.
1. After placing the wheel on the lifting plate (see
Fig. 17
), press the lifting device drive pedal
(
Fig. 18 ref.

) downwards and bring the wheel
to a level where it can be shifted to the mandrel by
hand (see
Fig. 18
).

2. Place the wheel on the mandrel.
3. Lift the pedal (
Fig. 18 ref.

) upwards in order to
lower the lifting plate.
4. After tyre’s mounting and demounting operations
have been performed, release the wheel from tyre.
5. Lift the lifting plate by pressing again the pedal
downwards (
Fig. 18 ref.

).
6. Place the wheel on the lifting plate (see
Fig. 19
).
7. Move again the pedal (
Fig. 19 ref.

) upwards to
make the plate lower and bring back the wheel to
the ground keeping a hand on it (see
Fig. 19
).

12.0 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
To ensure the lifting device remains in good working
order and operates properly, it is essential to comply
with the daily or weekly cleaning operations and the
routine maintenance schedule described in ROUTINE
MAINTENANCE section of the USE AND MAINTE-
NANCE HANDBOOK of the tyre-changer where the
lifting device is installed.
ANY DAMAGE RESULTING FROM
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE IN-
STRUCTIONS MENTIONED ABOVE
WILL RELEASE THE MANUFAC-
TURER FROM ANY LIABILITY AND
MIGHT CAUSE THE LOSS OF THE
WARRANTY CONDITIONS!
