Mouse Pointer Synchronization
When controlling a target server, MPC and RRC display two mouse cursors: one belonging to
your client workstation and the other belonging to the target server. When properly configured,
the two mouse cursors will align. Should you experience difficulty with mouse synchronization,
please refer to the section
Configuring Target Servers , at the beginning of this chapter.

Note to CommandCenter Users
If you are using USTIP in a CommandCenter configuration, perform the installation steps as
outlined above. After completing the steps in this chapter, please consult the PCCI User Guide on
the Support page of Raritan’s Website (

proceed with your installation. The rest of this user guide applies primarily to users deploying
USTIP without the integration functionality of CommandCenter.
