Symbols and warning notices
In the installation manual, the following designations or
symbols are used for very important notices.
Information or regulations and prohibitions
concerning the prevention of personal injuries or
heavy material damages.
Information concerning maintenance of the
electrical installation.
Notices concerning the protection of the
environment.
Notices concerning important information or easier
operation.
•
Unroll capillary tubes and cable.
•
Insert capillary tubes and cables through the opening of
the boiler jacket.
•
Connect the boiler sensor to the identified cables.
•
Place control panel on boiler and push into lugs on
jacket (1) (Fig. 5.1).
•
Insert the sensor elements into the sleeves of the boiler
(Fig. 5.2).
•
Attach safety springs to prevent sensor elements sliding
out.
2 Description
The control panel SP 2.2 isused for two-stage heat
generators. It is equipped with the following: two 30 –
90° C boiler temperature controls for stage 1 and stage 2;
boiler temperature indicator; safety temperature limiter;
main on/off switch; auto/man/TÜV switch, auto/man switch
for storage charging pump; auto/man switch for heating
circulation pump and fault indicator light.
1 Regulations
The regulations relating to the installation of heating
systems are to be observed, along with any local rules laid
down by the electricity supply company or association of
electrical engineers.
3 Delivery format
Control panel packed in carton.
4Accessories
Single- and two-stage weather guided heating circuit
controls of the types rapidomatic T and rapidomatic TZ and
the control panels SP 2.2 may be used.
5 Control panel installation
The control panel can be attached to the top boiler jacket
with a locking pin.
After installing capillary and sensor elements
in the corresponding sleeves and securing
them from sliding out again, it is vital to ensure
that the capillaries do not come into contact
with parts which transport flue gas (burner
door).
