8 Operation

1 Main switch on/off
This switch causes electrical power to be supplied to the
boiler on) or disconnects it (off).
2 auto/man TÜV switch
auto:
This setting must be selected when rapidomatic heating
circuit control is in use. The effect of this setting is to
connect burner and heating pump (pump No. 1) on
operation of rapidomatic.
man:
The setting to use if rapidomatic heating circuit control
is not working correctly. The effect of this setting is to
connect the burner according to the desired boiler
advance temperatures, which are set at the boiler
temperature control.
TÜV:
The purpose of this switch setting is to allow inspection
of the switching function of the safety temperature limit-
er (TSB).
3 Storage charging pump auto/man switch
auto:
This setting must be selected when rapidomatic heating
circuit control is in use.
man:
This setting is selected if rapidomatic is functioning
incorrectly. The storage charging pump runs
continuously.
4 Heating circuit No. 1 heating pump
auto/man switch
auto:
This setting must be selected when rapidomatic heating
circuit control is in use.
man:
This setting is selected if rapidomatic is functioning
incorrectly. The heating circuit No. 1 heating pump runs
continuously.
5 Safety temperature limiter (STB)
The safety temperature limiter disconnects the burner if
none of the control devices are working. Automatic re-
connection of the burner is not possible. In case of STB
safety temperature limiter release, remove the screw cap
and push the button beneath it.

8 Step 1 boiler temperature control
Provides non-stepped control of boiler advance
temperature. Temperature can be set between 30° C and
90° C.
When a rapidomatic heating circuit control is installed, the
step 1 boiler temperature control should be set at 90° C.
9 Step 2 boiler temperature control
As for step 1 boiler temperature control. With manual
operation, step 2 control is set approx. 5 – 10 K lower than
step 1 control.
When a rapidomatic heating circuit control is installed, the
step 2 boiler temperature control should be set at 90° C.
10 Installation possibility for rapidomatic
heating circuit control
The control panel circuit board is equipped with a delayed
action 6.3 amp. Fuse (Fig. 7). Ensure that control panel is
dead before replacing the fuse (pull the mains plug). The
control panel can be opened by loosening the screws next
to the plug connections. The runs continuously fuse can
now be changed and the boiler returned to operation after
closing the control panel again.
