Handlebar tilting lever with safety catch
The operating handlebar can be tilted by ± 20° or ± 30° or turned by 180° using the
handlebar tilting lever. The safety catch prevents accidental turning of the handlebar by
more than 20° or 30° when actuating the handlebar tilting lever.
By pulling the lever to the stop of the guard plate the handlebar can be tilted by ± 20° or
± 30°.
Lifting the guard plate and pulling the lever to the limit stop enables the handlebar to be
turned by 180° (see Appendix Dimensions).

Freewheeling lever
The hydraulic system can be bypassed using the freewheeling lever.
The freewheeling function is activated by pulling out the lever. To deactivate the
freewheeling function, push the lever in as far as it will go.
When the machine is in freewheeling condition:
• it can be manually moved when the dead man handle is pressed.
• it no longer has the braking effect of the hydraulic system.
4.8
Differential locking lever
The differential lock enables synchronism of both wheels (increased traction).
To move the lever forwards release it from the lock by slight pulling and tilting.
• The differential is locked when the lever is in the front position.
• The differential is not locked when the lever is in the rear position.
Warning
The machine may suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over or run
them over.
• The handlebar tilting lever must not be pulled when travelling on an incline.
• The handlebar may only be turned by 180° when stationary.
• You must not attempt to bypass the function of the guard plate.
Note
If the dead man handle is not actuated, the immobilisation brake is activated.
Warning
The machine may suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over or run
them over.
• The machine must not be towed.
Note
The differential lock can be activated and deactivated during travel.
Warning
The machine may suddenly trap the user or third persons, cause them to fall over or run
them over.
• Do not use the differential lock when cornering or driving with a trailer.
