sary to periodically clean the b

rner. Inspect and clean the b
u
rner in accor-

res:
1. To

es, disconnect the b
u
rner piping from the
manifold, at the
u
nion, and co
v
er the exposed end of the manifold.

e the pilot assembly.

Remo

e the ignition cable from the igniter on the side of the b
u
rner, and
then remo
v
e the spark igniter. Clean the igniter contacts
w
ith a
w
ire
br
u
sh. Set the gap to 0.125" (3.17 mm).
4.
Inspect each of the stainless steel mixing plates to see that all of the air
holes are free of debris. Clean
w
ith a
w
ire br
u
sh as necessary.
5.
The b
u
rner orifices may need to be drilled to
u
npl
u
g any closed orifices.
Use a pin
v
ise
w
ith the appropriate drill to clean debris from the orifices.
An electric drill is not s
u
ggested beca
u
se it is easy to snap drill bits off
in the orifices.
6.
Reinstall the pilot assembly. Reconnect the b
u
rner piping to the mani-
fold at the
u
nion.
