SEAT (GRAMMER)
The seat can be adjusted for leg reach and back rest
angle to provide a comfortable position for operating
the machine.
1. FORE AND AFT ADJUSTMENT
To Adjust:
The position of the adjusting lever is on the right hand
side of the seat below the seat cushion (B Fig.31). By
pulling the lever away from the seat, the seat can be slid
backwards and forwards, when in the desired position
release the lever to locate in one of the pre set positions.
2. BACK REST ADJUSTMENT
To Adjust:
The position of the release lever is on the left hand side
of the seat (A Fig.32). While sitting on the seat pull the
release lever upwards to release the back rest. (The
back rest is spring loaded to fold onto the seat cushion.)
Lean back to obtain the desired position for the back
rest and release the lever to locate in one of the pre set
positions.
NOTE:The seat is fitted with a microswitch to sense
operator presence.
SEAT (GRAMMER MSG 20)
The seat can be adjusted for operator's weight and
leg reach to provide a comfortable position for
operating the machine.
1. ADJUSTMENT FOR OPERATOR WEIGHT
To Adjust:
The position of the adjusting knob is on the left hand
side of the seat, at the rear. By sliding the lever
downwards the weight capacity is increased and
raising the weight capacity is decreased.
Cutting Cylinder Brake Adjustment. (Fig.30)
It is important for operator safety that cutting cylinder brake
is correctely adjusted.

Turn adjuster link (B Fig.27.1)) anti-clockwise 2
complete turns..
(b) Loosen the screws (A. Fig.30) holding brake
shoe to the mainframe, Slide shoe downwards
till in contact with pulley.
(c) Tighten screws.
(d) Turn adjuster link clockwise 2 complete turns.
