OPERATORS MANUAL
OPERATING THE MACHINE
1. Release the transport latches.
2. Release parking locks.
3. Lower all three units to the ground by pushing
the single lever forwards.
(See Controls section)
4. Engage the cutting cylinders by pushing the
single lever fully forward.
(See Controls section)
5. Gently depress the footpedal with the toe and
the machine will move forward. Always keep
the foot on the footpedal. To relax the foot
control will result in a jerky motion.

If the ENGINE starts to labour in heavy conditions
the forward speed of the machine should be reduced
by the footpedal.
TO REVERSE
Gently depress the rear of the footpedal with the heel
whilst holding the nuetral latch down with the toe.
NOTE: Always operate the footpedal smoothly and
slowly. Never move the pedal violently from forward
to reverse or vice versa.
TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP THE MACHINE
Gradually release the foot pressure on the pedal and
allow it to return to neutral and the machine will come
to a halt.
PARKING THE MACHINE
Always park the machine on level ground. Disengage
the drive to the cylinders, stop the engine. Remove
the ignition key and apply the parking brake before
leaving the machine unattended.
PUSHING THE MACHINE WITH THE ENGINE
STOPPED
IMPORTANT: DO NOT TOW THE MACHINE.
The traction unit cannot be moved manually without
first unscrewing the by-pass valve at the front of the
pump. Maximum 2 turns.
The valve must have to be retightened before the
engine is started again.
