5.2.5 REF OUT

BNC connector. Output of the internal reference signal. If activated, a signal is
always present at this output.
When using an internal reference, the frequency generated by the internal refer-
ence oscillator of the R&S
VTE is made available. If an external reference is acti-
vated, the signal applied to the reference frequency input is also available here. It
is buffered and filtered.

5.2.6 DISPLAY PORT
See (6) in Figure 5-2 .
The display port connector provides the monitor output signal of the built-in com-
puter. The connected computer monitor needs to provide a resolution of
1024x768 pixels or higher.
You can use either the DISPLAY PORT or the DVI-D port. Using both con-
nectors at the same time is not supported.
5.2.7 DVI Port
See (7) in Figure 5-2 .
DVI-D socket. Output for the monitor signal of the built-in computer. The connec-
ted computer monitor needs to provide a resolution of 1024x768 pixels or higher.
You can use either the DISPLAY PORT or the DVI-D port. Using both con-
nectors at the same time is not supported.
You can use a DVI-I cable for connecting R&S
VTE and display, but the
analog video interface (pins C1 to C4) is not provided by the R&S VTE.
