JP3 - Fan Power Supply

OFF: fan is operated by microcontroller according to
settings made with JP5.
ON: Fan is always supplied

JP4 - Laser Power Supply

OFF: Laser is microcontroller operated.
ON: Laser is always supplied

JP5 - Fan Operation Set-Up

OFF: fan operates when the Led is ON.
ON: Fan operates with thermistor on JP8
• switches on at tempeatures exceeding 68 °C with Led

ON

• switches off at temperatures less than 64 °C or on Led

OFF

• if no thermistor is connected, the fan switches on with

the Led.

JP8 - Connector for
Thermistor NTC 4K7

Without polarity, thermistor connection 4K7 at 25°C as per
sample.

JP6 - Configuration of
Panel Led Output J4

ON: photosensor over the hole, External Led ON.
OFF: photosensor over the hole, External Led OFF

Important:
JP7 - Programming of
Microcontroller Pic16F52

OFF - Pic16F526 may be programmed by removing JP8
(thermistor input) from Pic.
ON - JP8 connected to Pic prevents re-programing

Trimmers

TR1- Current Control

Adjusts the output current intensity to the Led.
Stepless current adjustment from 0 to 5.1 A. Adjusting
current to approx 4.7 A will increase Led life without a
significant loss of luminosity.

TR2 - Time Adjustment

30s is the default adjustment of this trimmer. Should
different values be required, the trimmer must be adusted
manually from 30s to 120s (i.e. 0 to 90% of trimmer
adjustment).
When the trimer is regulated at over 120s (i.e. 100% of its
adjustment), the timer performs as power suply: it starts by
powering-up the Led and other features such as laser and
fan. In this case, maximum light ON time is 15 min. for
safety reasons.

Customized Version

Safety time is adusted at over 9 hours with the trimmer at
maximum adjustment.
The board operates the Led on power-up.
The key input does not need to be jumpered.
