3.6.2 Filling the Tank
1. Turn on the switch that is located in the electrical box inside the control cabin. Place the
switch to the position (Up) shown in figure 31, as it is the start position. To turn the
operation off, flip the switch to the opposite side (Down). Note that the MFS is installed
with 6 emergency shutdown buttons. One is located in the rear infeed section to the right.
four are located in the dispenser section, two on every dispenser. The sixth is located in
control cabin where the electrical box is located. Please refer to section 1.3 part 10 to locate
all six emergency shutdown buttons.
2. Park the fuel conveying truck towards the back section of the MFS where can be seen from
figure 32 in order to connect the hoses to the infeed section of the MFS and start the filling
operation of the MFS. Please refer to section 1.3 part number 1 to locate the infeed line,
where the filling hose will be attached.

3. Before starting the filling procedure please make sure that a retention tray is placed under
the KAMLOK Conn Dust CAP 4'' to prevent any unexpected leaks from happening
and avoiding any fuel spillage. Make sure that the ½'' cut valve placed under the retention
tray is securely closed to avoid any fuel spillage and to prevent the environment from any
hazards. Figure 33 shows the place where the retention tray should be placed. Please refer
to section 1.3 part number 13 to locate the retention tray.
