Weather Center Instrumentation

Features and Benefits
The Rain Master Weather Computer is a precision electronic instrument
that calculates Evapotranspiration (ET). The Weather Computer, using
Solar Radiation, Temperature, Relative Humidity, and Wind Speed will
calculate ET to an accuracy of 0.01 inches. The calculations are based
on the approved American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Formula,
which simulates water transpiration and soil moisture evaporation (water
lost) of irrigated cool season turfgrass, in direct sunlight.
