The carburetor is where the fuel mixes with the air to be burnt. The carburetor without routine
inspection and cleaning may become a problem area preventing optimal motor performance. Adhere to
a scheduled service interval as recommended in this section. More stringent intervals may be required
based on multiple submersions, heavy fuel use, operating conditions or personal experience.
Disassembly and Cleaning
Separate carburetor stack into individual carbs.
Using Philips head screw driver, remove 4x Philips
head screws securing fuel bowl.
Using Philips head screw driver, remove 1x Philips
head screw securing float, float arm, pin, and needle.
