4.7.7 Change Pump Speed
There are two speed settings for the pump motor in the
Q-
RAE
that can be selected from the programming menu:
low
(default) and
high
. The “high” setting should be used
for long lengths of tubing or when rapid changes in input
conditions are expected. “Low” may be selected when the
operating conditions are slow to change. Low may also be
used to prolong pump motor life; LEL sensor life and
battery run time.
1. “Change Pump Motor Speed?” is the eighth sub-menu
item in Table 4.6.
2. Press the [Y/+] key, the display shows the current pump
speed selection: “Pump Speed = Low?”
3. Press the [Y/+] key to accept the currently displayed
pump speed and move to the next monitor setup sub-
menu. Press
[N/-] key to change to the other speed
“Pump Speed = High?” Press [MODE] key to exit this
sub-menu and move to the next monitor setup sub-
menu.
