GreenHouse Blowdown Parallel Evaporation System

Thank you for purchasing your GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator System

Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before operating your unit.

Introduction

The GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator System brings all the benefits in productivity of multiple parallel evaporation

to the chemist at a fraction of the cost of other evaporators. The modular system uses a precisely controlled flow of inert

gas combined with digital heat control to carefully evaporate your samples.

• The GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator System allows you to either upgrade your existing GreenHouse Parallel

Synthesiser to perform parallel evaporation, or to be used as a separate stand alone bench-top personal evaporator

• Chemists can perform up to 24 evaporations in parallel. Interchangeable plates (that fit the

Blowdown Head), with either 8 or 24 hollow pins, deliver an equal flow of gas to each tube, vial or well.

• GreenHouse reaction tubes can be evaporated directly in the standard GreenHouse reaction block without

the need to load or reload the block.

• A selection of vial racks are available to hold the most popular vial sizes in 6 x 4 and 4 x 2 arrays.

• GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator System is ideal for the evaporation of HPLC fractions in vials or micro titer plates.

• Digitally controlled heating from a standard Carousel (or IKA) stirring hotplate gently adds energy to the sample

to speed the evaporation process. The stirring hotplates optional fuzzy logic digital temperature controller 

will maintain the temperature with an accuracy of +/-0.5°C.

• This precise heat control and the absence of a vacuum will protect your sample and avoids bumping.

• The Flowmeter maintains an accurately metered flow rate of inert gas to optimise the evaporation rate without splashing.

• Nickel plated safety pressure relief valves on both the GreenHouse Blowdown Head and nitrogen inlet ensure

protection against over pressurisation.

• Environmentally friendly enclosed design contains evaporating solvent. With a a unique glass condenser system,

cooled with dry ice/acetone, ensuring efficient condensation and minimal loss of solvent to the environment.

Warranty

The GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator System includes one-year full parts and labour warranty from date of 

original

 

purchase. Warranty will only be valid if a completed
