GreenHouse Blowdown Parallel Evaporation System
Set-Up - Using Vial Racks or Micro Titer Plates
Using the GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator as a Stand Alone Unit
As a stand alone unit, the GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator is used only for
Blowdown and not for synthesis. The Stand Alone Base is used instead of the
standard GreenHouse Base (the Blowdown Base Adaptor is not required).
As a Stand Alone unit the GreenHouse Blowdown Evaporator is used to
evaporate solvents from vials or micro titer plates only.
Vial racks are shown above and listed under Accessories on page 4. These racks
simply locate in the Blowdown Stand Alone Base and require no special fitting.
When using vials rack always select the correct Blowdown Pin Plate.
RR99673 - Blowdown Pin Plate for 24 position racks or MTPs.
RR99674 - Blowdown Pin Plate for 8 position racks or MTPs.
Important Note
The Stand Alone Unit is not designed for the Blowdown evaporation
of GreenHouse reaction tubes. This can only be undertaken using
the standard GreenHouse Base and GreenHouse reaction block.

Using the Standard GreenHouse Base with the Blowdown Base Adaptor
The Blowdown Base Adaptor allows use of vial racks or standard micro titer
plates. Choose from 5 standard vial racks in 24 or 8 position formats.
Vial racks are shown right and listed under Accessories on page 4. These racks
simply locate in the Blowdown Base Adaptor and require no special fitting.
When using vials rack always select the correct Blowdown Pin Plate.

Having fitted the Blowdown Pin Plate (see page 7), Blowdown
Base Adaptor and appropriate vial rack or micro titer plate now
