3.1.2. Channels
With the buttons < and > a station can be selected. While pressing one of these buttons the
F-700 will scroll through the list of channels. If the button is released, the selected channel
number is flashing at the display and the F-700 will connect with the selected channel. If the
connection is completed, the speak volume bar will switch on and the display shows the
channel number. The connection can be closed by pressing the ‘end com’ button. When
there is a connection with a channel and channel up or channel down is pressed, the F-700
will also scroll through the list of channels. After releasing the button, the current connection
will be shut down and a connection with the new selected channel will be build up.
3.1.3. Listen volume
By pressing at the left or right side of the bar, the volume can be adjusted.
3.1.4. Speak volume
By pressing at the left or right side of the bar, the volume can be adjusted.
3.1.5. Attention
This button will close a relay contact at the selected channel while it is pressed.
3.1.6. Accept
If there is a call from a F-701, the channel number will flash on the display and there is a
accoustic signal. By pressing the accept button, the acoustic signal will stop and the F-700
will connect with the channel.
A F-701 with priority will interrupt a current connection and is connected directly to the F-700.
3.1.7. All call

3.1.8. PTT / Footswitch
When there is a connection, audio is send from the substation to the mainstation. While the
PTT button or footswitch is pressed, audio is send from the mainstation to the substation.
3.1.9. Incomming call while off
No incomming call is possible while the mainstation is switched off. A substation can never
be switched off.
3.1.10. MOB
By pressing the MOB button for 5 seconds, a alarm signal will sound at all channels. The
volume of each channel is set to maximum. By pressing the button again for 1 second, the
alarm will switch off.
3.1.11. Alarm
By pressing the Alarm button for 5 seconds, a alarm signal will sound at all channels. The
volume of each channel is set to maximum. By pressing the button again for 5 second, the
alarm will switch off.
3.1.12. Half/Full Duplex
