Caller ID Operation
REDIALING FROM A CALL RECORD
Press
CALL BACK
to dial the number from the displayed record.
-DIALING-
appears and the Caller ID dials the number.
Depending on your phone system’s requirements, you might
need to press
FORMAT
before
CALL BACK
to change the dial
format. Repeatedly press
FORMAT
to cycle through these for-
mats:
• 7-digit number
•
1
plus 7-digit number (if your system requires you to dial
1
before a 7-digit number)
• 10-digit number (area code plus 7-digit number)
•
1
plus 10-digit number (if your local phone system requires
you to dial
1
before a long-distance number)
Note: If you press
CALL BACK
before picking up the phone’s
handset,
-PICK
UP
PHONE-
appears.
• If you pick up the handset within 5 seconds,
–DIALING-
appears and the Caller ID dials the number.
• If you do not pick up the handset within 5 seconds, the cur-
rent Caller ID memory reappears and you must redial your
call (or press
CALL BACK
) again.
