Installing the YOUR SPEED Faceplate
TC-800 YOUR SPEED Faceplate
•
The TC-800 YOUR SPEED faceplate is a wrap around design. Simply slide the
faceplate over the front of the radar speed sign and align the holes in the faceplate
with the holes on the side of the radar speed sign housing (3 each side).

Secure the faceplate on both sides of the radar speed sign with the bolts, washers,
and nuts provided in the hardware kit.
NOTE: Be careful not to cross thread the
bolts that attach the Your Speed Sign to the radar speed sign.
TC-1100 YOUR SPEED Faceplate
•
The size of the TC-1100 YOUR SPEED faceplate requires that
stability brackets be installed to the back of the faceplate. Install
one bracket to each side with the “L” facing outward.

Once the stability brackets are installed, secure the YOUR SPEED
faceplate by setting the faceplate over the front of the radar speed
sign and aligning the holes in the stability bracket with the holes on
the side of the radar speed sign housing. (3 each side). Secure the
faceplate on both sides of the sign housing with the bolts, washers,
and nuts provided in the hardware kit.
NOTE: Be careful not to
cross thread the bolts that attach the Your Speed Sign to the radar
speed sign.
BEST PRACTICE for TC-800 AND TC-1100 Faceplate Installation
To protect the radar, it is critical that the faceplate is secured flush
against the radar speed sign housing where the radar housing and the
faceplate meet, with no gap.

For best results, it is highly recommended that you add a regulatory speed limit sign
on the pole above or below your radar speed sign.
The speed limit sign and extender brackets are available from Radarsign.
