nvsizeinq(
unsigned long size);
Store
size
in the system block for the amount of RAM to be used for the input
queue. This would be used if the default value was not large enough. During
power-up this value is used to set the size of the input queue. A value of zero
causes the default value to be used. The default value is 170 words. The size
is specified in words, one word for each character.
Example:
nvsizeinq(200); - Sets input queue to be 200 words
nvsizesecq(
unsigned long size);
Store
size
in the system block for the amount of RAM to be used for the
secondary queue. T h i s would be used i f the default value was not large
enough. During power-up this value is used to set the size of the secondary
queue. A value of zero causes the default value to be used. The default value
is 40 words. Th e size is specified in words, one word for each character.
Example: nvsizesecq(200); - sets size to 200 words.
nvstartinuser(
unsigned int yes);
Store
yes
in the system block for whether to start in the user's parser or the
standard parser. This would be used if there was a dedicated user parser and
the default command set was not desired. During power-up this value is used
to set which parser is active. A value of zero causes the default parser to be
used. A non-zero value causes the user parser to be used. T h e user parser
address is one of the vectors that can be stored in non-vol (see
nvsetvect).
Storing a non-zero
yes
i s the same as having the commander send the
command to switch parsers.
Example:
nvstartinuser(1); - Enables nvsetvect
nvstorecode(
void *source, void *dest, unsigned long length);
Move a block of information from
source
to
dest
where
dest
is an address in
the unstructured area of non-vol. The length of the block is
length
bytes. This
could be used to copy a user parser that had been previously loaded into RAM
into the non-volatile area.
Example:
nvstorecode(#H403000,#H602000,#H2000); - Stores an S-
record of 8 Kbytes (#H2000) loaded from RAM at address #H403000
into non-vol at address #H602000.
