Make sure that the unit is placed in a safe manner.
The device may be used by children over the age of 8
or persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental
faculties, or who do not have experience or the neces-
sary knowledge, provided that under supervision or
after receiving instructions on safe use of the device and having
understood the related hazards.
Cleaning and maintenance to be carried out by the user may not
be carried out by children without the supervision of an adult.
An electric device is not a toy. Use and store it out of reach of chil-
dren; children must be supervised to make sure that they do not
play with the device.
During operation, the power outlet should be easily accessible in
the event that it is necessary to disconnect the equipment.
Do not place the appliance under a power outlet.
Check that there are no nearby flammable materials (eg curtains,
upholstery, etc.).
Do not use the device to process excessively hard or fibrous food (e.g. rhu-
barb).
• Do not put your fingers into the duct on the cover as this could cause
injury.
Do not remove the lid (11) from the motor base (1) without first
having removed the plug from the mains socket.
After each use disconnect the plug from the mains outlet.
Place the unit away from sinks and faucets.
The device MUST be checked and/ or repaired at an authorized
dealer.
Any repairs carried out on the device by unauthorized personnel
will void the warranty automatically.
