The RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker is for shaking of the RIDA qLine
®
Allergy membranes. The placing of
media directly on the platform is strictly forbidden.
Caution:
Don’t use flammable media together with or in the direct surroundings of the device.

It is the user task to find out whether the device is suitable for the application. If in doubt, clarify
this with your dealer or directly with the manufacturer.

2.3 Dimensions and installation of the RIDA qLine
®

The installation dimensions such as length x width and height are shown in the following figure:
Caution:
It is essential to install the shaker module on a suitable base plate or holder, which is secured
against slipping. Don’t start the device as long as it is not adequately positioned.
Caution:
During installation, make sure that the device is at a safe distance from its direct surroundings.
The shaker unit should be at a safe distance of at least 2 cm from its surroundings. The
mentioned safety distances only refer to the functionality of the device and not to any dangers
in relation to fire protection. Don’t use any flammable media right beside the device.
2.3.1 Ventilation requirements during operation
Ensure adequate and continuous ventilation of the RIDA qLine
®
Orbital Shaker during operation. The
ambient temperature of the shaker may not exceed 40 °C. You have to take care that the device does not
overheat by providing adequate ventilation.
The user has to provide the ventilation. Whether the ventilation has an effect on the accuracy of the
temperature and temperature stability of the shaker unit, and whether these have a negative effect on the
method/ application has to be judged by the user.
Failure to follow the instructions means that the safe operation of the device cannot be guaranteed and that
there may be a danger to people and material!
