Turning on and off
Short press on the ‘ON/OFF’ button (<0.5 sec) to turn the
system on or off. After the system has been inactive for 5
minutes, it switches off automatically.
Selection field
Briefly press the 'WALK' button to choose between the
different display options in the selection field.
Adjusting the pedal assistance
Use the ‘PLUS’ and ‘MINUS’ buttons to select the
assistance levels. The higher the power level, the stronger
the motor assistance. In power level 0 the motor gives no
assistance but you can use the display of the bike. Please
note that the battery runs out of power faster when using
a high power level than with a low power level. The highest
2 levels are very powerful and only meant for hills, slopes
and tough circumstances.
Operating the Walk assist
Use the Walk assist function to easily manage your bicycle,
for example, when exiting a bicycle cellar. Stand next to
your bicycle and keep your hands on the handle bars. If
a manual brake is present, keep at least one hand on the
brake that also houses the brake interrupter (interruption
of the electric motor). Usually, this is the left manual brake.
Keep the ‘WALK’ button pressed while firmly holding the
handle bars. After a few seconds, the engine will turn on.
As soon as you release the ‘WALK’ button, the Walk assist
function automatically switches off. The Walk assist has a
maximum speed of 6 km/h (without load)..
