Operating instructions

5.1

Warnings

Safety precautions

The operator must apply all relevant safety precautions, including those mentioned in this
manual.

Altitude operation

Consult your supplier if operating above 3000 m (9843 ft).

At least 10 minutes before starting, the main supply to the dryer must be switched on to
initialize the controller and flow switch.

For water-cooled versions: Open the water inlet and outlet valves (customer's
installation).
Press start button (14).
Three-phase units are provided with a phase sequence relay. When the dryer
compressor motor does not start, switch off the voltage and reverse two incoming
electric lines.
For air-cooled versions: Check the rotation direction of the fan motor(s). The correct
rotation direction is indicated by an arrow next to each fan. If incorrect, switch off the
voltage and reverse two of the three phase connections.
