Towing or being towed can lead to fatigue of the boat
’
s
hardware and lines. Failure of any part can seriously injury
people or damage the boat. Do not stand directly in line
with the tow line. If the line were to break, it would
“
snap
back
”
causing injury or damage to everything in its path.
Use only the lifting points specified. Using the cleats for
lifting is dangerous and could cause serious injury or death.
Always tow or be towed at a slow speed. Never exceed the
hull speed of a displacement craft when being towed.
It is the owner
’
s/operators responsibility to ensure that
mooring lines, towing lines, anchor chains, anchor lines and
anchors are adequate for the vessel
’
s intended use. Owners
should also consider what action will be necessary when
securing a tow line on board.

Swim Ladder
Located on the starboard aft corner, there is a swim ladder which allows easy access on and off your
boat into the water. To deploy the ladder, simply rotate the ladder from the
“
stored
”
position into the
water and extend the ladder rungs. If your boat comes with the extended swim platforms, the ladder
is mounted on the underside of the starboard swim platform. To deploy the ladder, pull the ladder
out from the
“
stored
”
position, rotate into the water and extend the ladder rungs. Quicksilver®
recommends that while others are in the water, the ladder remain deployed and usable at all times.
The rotating propeller may cause a serious injury or death.
Do not use the swim ladder while the boat engine is
running.
