How Do I Adjust the Height of the Hopping Foot for Thicker or Thinner
Batting

?

threaded screw

Nut

If you are quilting on batting that is thicker than normal you might need to raise the hopping foot.  Loosen the
nut located on the black threaded bolt on the top of your machine.  By turning the bolt counter clock wise you
will raise your hopping foot.  Turning bolt clock wise will lower the hopping foot.  Be sure to tighten the nut
after your adjustment.

 Never adjust the silver screw!!

The normal height of the hopping foot should be approximately the height of a dime or three business cards.
