REQUIRED FOR A SUCCESSFUL IN-
STALLATION. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE
THIS PLEASE REQUEST IT FROM YOUR
SUPPLIER.
1. Correct sized hole drilled in the worktop 1
37/64” (40mm).
2. Cold Water Supply: 1/4” (6.35mm) lever ball
valve.
3. Thermostatic Mixing Valve should be installed
for accessibility. The thermostatic mixing valve
is a separate installation than that of the cold
water supply valve, and the thermostatic mixing
valve must be purchased separately.
4. Drainage: An approved type AA fitting (air
gap) must be used for the venturi waste.
Either a trapped upstand or drain clamp or
equivalent connection approved in the country
or state of installation. Fittings are provided and
can be used if applicable for your installation.
5. Power: The system requires two dedicated
220V/13 amp circuits to run your Quatreau.
Your systems have been carefully packaged.
If the box is damaged upon delivery, you should
photograph the damage and remove the con-
tents for inspections before signing the delivery
note.
STEP 1
Remove the individual box from the main
packaging that included the tap faucet and in-
stallation kit and put on a flat surface where it
cannot be damaged accidentally.
STEP 2
Remove and inspect QT553. On top of the
QT553, you will see two protruding opaque
stems, be careful not to damage these outlets.
The unit weighs 44lbs (19.95kg) to ensure you
use the correct lifting procedure (knees bent
back straight) to avoid hurting yourself. If in
doubt, seek advice before lifting.
STEP 3
Check the installation equipment and electrical
connection that will be in a plastic bag inside the
packing. Included is a content list for parts and
instructions.
Cut down each side of the box to reveal the
system so that you don’t have to lift it upwards
out of the box. Carefully place one hand under
the front lip of the system next to the filter. This
will give you a firm hold and leverage.
Tilting the system away from you, place your
other hand under the base of the opposite end.
This will ensure you have control of the weight
when you lift. Remove from box and place in on
the floor.
The water heater control unit (QT553) and
chiller carbonator (CS20) must be located
underneath the faucet or in an adjacent cup-
board no further than 3’ feet from the back of
the water heater. This is to ensure the commu-
nication cable from the faucet to the QT553 is
not stretched.
