10. Check for proper position of Top Trolley Wheel.  If necessary, loosen eight 

(8) set screws and adjust the position of the Top Trolley Wheel up or down 
as required.  Re-tighten all set screws when finished. 

11. Re-install Track Stop Bumpers in Floor Track and Top Track (see Figure 6). 

Installing the Longitudinal Brake (Electromagnetic Lock) 

The Longitudinal Brake Assembly mounts inside the Base Assembly (on the an-
ode side).  Proceed as follows: 

1. Insert the Longitudinal Brake Assembly into the slot located in the rear side 

of the Base Assembly (see Figure 7). 

2. Loosely mount the Longitudinal Brake Assembly to the Base Assembly using 

two (2) 1/4-20 x 1” hex head bolts and flat washers. 

3. The space between electromagnetic lock and contacting part of the Floor 

Track should not exceed 20/1000" (ideally between 10/1000” and 
20/1000”).  Adjust height as required. 

4. When electromagnetic lock height is correct, tighten the two (2) 1/4-20 x 1” 

hex head bolts.
