Options of Management Port Settings
The options available in this tab:
Enable Dual Management Ports:
This is for dual controller models. When the setting is
enabled, both management ports of the controllers have their own IP addresses and
MAC addresses, and both are active. If the setting is disabled, only the management
port of the master controller is active, the other one is on standby. Both controller
management ports share the same IP address and MAC address. The management port
fails over to the slave controller when the master controller goes offline, either planned
or unplanned.
