3.2.1 Acquiring an ECG in Thorax Placement Mode

Turn on the BIOLOG 3000

as described above. Allow the unit to
settle in ECG display mode.

Place the BIOLOG 3000

on the patient's chest as indicated
above.

The leads off (

indication should vanish, and
after a few seconds, the baseline of the patient's ECG will settle
down and appear on the screen. Maintain the BIOLOG 3000
