1394 CARDBUS PC CARD

Driver Installation Verification
Connecting Devices
Before setting up the Que! Combo FireWire CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive, make
sure to verify the driver for the CardBus PC card has been successfully installed
in your system and follow the setup procedures listed below.
A) Single port 1394 CardBus
Step 1: Boot up your system.
Step 2: Connect the 6-pin connector ends of the provided 1394 FireWire
cable into the CD-RW/DVD-ROM FireWire Combo drive.
Step 3: Connect the other end connector to the CardBus PC card .
Step 4: P o w e r-on the CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Fire Wi re drive and the drive
should be recognized by the system automatically once the power is on.
The setup procedure is now complete.
B) Dual port 1394 CardBus
Step 1: Boot up your system.
Step 2: Connect one of the 6-pin connector ends of the provided 1394
FireWire cable into the CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo drive.
