1394 CARDBUS PC CARD

Hardware Installation

General instructions for installing the CardBus PC card are given since the location
of the CardBus Type II slot may vary between different portable computers.

Step 1: 

Turn OFF the power to your portable computer and any other 
connected ext e rnal devices.

Step 2: 

Connect the provided CardBus-to-1394 extension cable to the PC Card .

Step 3: 

Insert the PC Card into an available CardBus Type II slot with the 
arrow orientation pointing towards the slot.

Step 4: 

Hardware installation is complete. Please power up your portable 
computer and proceed to the next section for software installation.
