Installation
4.1 Unpack the instrument
The packaging of the BLU-V System can be stored for reuse.
4.2 Site requirements
Place the BLU-V System instrument on a level, stable surface, ideally a firmly
secured bench top, near an earthed/grounded electrical outlet. Unobstructed
access to the electrical outlet to which the instrument is connected must be
ensured at all times. Allow at least 10 cm (4 in) of clearance on all sides of the
unit for proper ventilation. While operating, make sure that the instrument does
not touch other objects. Locate it away from vibration-sensitive instruments, such
as an analytical balance.
4.3 Power cable connection
The socket for connecting the power cable is on the left of the BLU-V System
instrument.
1.
Connect the supplied power cord to the socket on the instrument.
2.
Plug the instrument into the electrical outlet.
3.
Switch the instrument ON.
4.
The green LED beside the start button on the control panel flashes green
when the instrument is ON.
When the BLU-V System is not in use for a longer period of time, we recommend
disconnecting the power cable.
