When an operator chooses to use the skip load check option following a previously failed load
check, this will be recorded in the run report and all samples will be flagged as invalid.
If you find positions with wrong loading, you have to press the
Back
button until you reach the
Select
sample positions
screen. This will unlock the hood and allow correction of the wrong positions.
Note
: If the operator goes back to the Select sample positions screen (standard workflow) or Scan
sample ID screen (LIMS workflow), the load check will again be mandatory.
5.7
End of the protocol run
When the protocol has successfully finished, the
Protocol run completed
screen is shown.
Information about required cleanup/maintenance steps is also displayed. First, remove the eluates
and store them according to the kit handbook of the used application. Follow the instructions to
properly remove all labware from the instrument and clean the piercing unit, see the After run
maintenance section (see page 145). If after run maintenance is completed, tap the check box to
transfer the maintenance status into the run report. Tap
Finish
to end the run, to create the report
file and go back to the
Home
screen. After a run is finished, a run report is generated. For more
information on how to save and download a run report, refer to the Saving a run report section
(page 128).
