Step 1 

– Adding remotes: 

1)  Enter user programming mode. Select # 6. Ready LED will flash slowly 
2)  Enter the remote number to be programmed on the keypad 1-8. Key 0 will toggle between Bank 1 

and Bank 2 (9 to 16) 

3)  The remote number LED will flash. 
4)  Press the * key. The buzzer will beep and the instant LED will flash. 
5)  Press a button on the remote. The Instant LED will stop flashing and the remote number LED will be 

on. 

 

Step 2  - Assigning button functions: 

1) 

Press the “PROG” key. Remote number LED will switch off 

2)  Press the button to be allocated to a function. (The existing function will be displayed). 
3)  Enter the desired function for this button from the table below. Corresponding function LEDs will light 
4) 

Press “PROG” key to save 

5)  Repeat from step 2 for all remaining buttons. 
6) 

Press the “BYPASS” key to exit programming for this remote. 

7)

  Repeat from step 1 for all remaining remotes.

To clear a function press the # key 

 

Deleting Codex remote transmitters: 

1)  Enter user programming mode. Select # 6. Ready LED will flash slowly 
2)  Enter the remote number to be programmed. 
3)  The remote number LED will flash. 

4)

  Press the # key. The buzzer will beep and the LED will switch off, indicating a blank location.

 

 

Programming: 

 

Enter programming mode: 

When entering into the installer-programming mode, a unique installer code is required. This code as a 
default is 2580 and is changeable in question 000. 
When entering into the programming mode, a programming level must be entered. 

 

Press PROG key until single beep is heard.  

 

Press the * key, a longer beep is heard.  

 

Enter installer code. 

 

Enter desired programming level # (1 to 8) a long beep is heard, zone 1 LED lights and the ready 
LED starts flashing slowly. The panel is in question 1 L1.  

 
The # key must be entered after every data entry to save the entry and move to the next location. 
Installer code is changed in level 1 programming question 000. 
 
The * key followed by the question number provides direct access to the required question number. 
Zone LEDs indicate question number.
