SCAN MODE OVERVIEW
AUDIT- BUDDY
has three modes to capture short term ( QuickScan mode), long term
(LongScan mode) scans of the data center environment and delta-T mode.
QuickScan mode captures short-term (20 Seconds) environmental data across mul-
tiple locations.
LongScan mode captures long-term environmental data in a single location. Conduct
a user-defined extended scan at a single cabinet
Delta-T mode diagnoses server cooling efficiency. Select Delta-T mode to conduct
measurement of the inlet and outlet of the same cabinet over an extended period of
time. This mode will allow users to monitor the cold air performance at a particular
cabinet.
Steps:
1. Select a scan mode using the radial buttons.
TIP: Each Scan Mode has a corresponding gif detailing the type of scan that will be
conducted.
