SET-UP OVERVIEW
In order to set-up the WIFI-BUDDY system, users should do the following things:
1. Attach the Wi-Fi adapter to the TH1 Module to create a WIFI Module
2. Install the WIFI-MATE Program*
• Please note, when you start the WIFI-MATE program for the fist time, you will be
asked to register the program. Please contact Purkay Labs directly for this key.
3. Install the DPLOT program in order to generate heat maps
4. Turn Router On**
5. Turn Adapters On
6. Start WI-FI Mate Program
* Users with the Purkay Labs’ Surface can skip step 4 as the Surface comes with all
programs installed and the ad router configured
** Users using their facility network will skip this step, and follow instructions for the
Dynamic IP Configuation set-up
Users with the Purkay Labs’ Surface can read about Module Set-Up and then skip
ahead to Chapter 3- “Scan Modes.”
