
Keying Logic
Set the Keying module links and apply keying
voltage inputs, per Table 5-6. Observe the output
levels and Keying module LEDs per Table 5-6.
Residual Noise Output
With the Transmitter unkeyed, observe the output
between 20 kHz and 2.0 MHz. There should be
no
output indication, and the “noise floor” should be
less than -20 dBm (22.4 mVrms).

Final Jumper Positions
Place jumpers on the Power Supply, Keying, 10W
PA, and RF Interface modules as required by the
final application (see Section 3, Installation, for
jumper summary). Set the four rotary switches on
the Transmitter Module to the correct frequency.
