IO-Link Data Types and Description
24.1.
Cyclic Data
The first dataset is called process data and refers to data that is periodically sent to the IO-Link master. The data is updated and communicated every 2ms. All other data in the
power supply itself is generated every 50ms and stored in the IO-Link registers. The higher cycle frequency enables operation with IO-Link masters and attached PLCs without
configuration.
