Faults
Warning: Removal of the top protective cover of the PS Series by anyone
other than an authorized PTEK technician will void the product warranty.
3.4.1
Over Temperature
Should the internal temperature exceed 40 degrees Centigrade the power will be
reduced to a low value (typically around 300W). At this time all the controls will
be locked out and the stand by LED will flash. After a couple of minutes the
system will retry and power will be reset to the previous value. If the temperature
is still in excess of 40 degrees Centigrade then the power will be reduced again as
above.
