Install Board
1.
Install a 12 mm Flanged Bushing, #29, on each
side of Lifting Arm, #26.
2.
Attach the Backboard and Goal with the (2) 7/16
x 1 ¾” Bolt, #38, and hardware as indicated. It is
easiest to mount the board with the supporting
arms in the full down position.
*Helpful hint;
Working out of the bed of a truck
may be easier than using ladders. The backboard is
very heavy. Be sure to install the Flanged Bushings,
#29, first.
The Board, Goal, and Brackets can weigh
nearly 145 lbs. Make sure that you have
enough help to complete this operation safely!
3.
While holding the Board in a vertical position, swing
the upper arms up to meet the Upper Board Attaching
Brackets, #30, and attach using 7/16” x 2 ½” Bolts,
#39, and hardware as indicated.
4.
Snug all 7/16” Bolts to remove clearance.
Do not torque
