HOW TO TOAST BREAD (SEE PAGE 2)

1.  Plug the power cord into a power outlet.

2.  Place a bread slice in the bread slot.

3.  Set the Control Knob to the desired level, ranging from lightly toasted (level 1) to

darkly toasted (level 9).

4.  Press the Carriage Lever down until it latches into place.

Note:

1.  Make sure the Crumb Tray is placed correctly before use.

2.  Placing two slices of bread rather than one will cause the bread to be less darkly

toasted.

3.  The Carriage Lever will only latch into place if the appliance is connected to a power

supply.

Once the bread has been toasted to the selected level, the carriage will unlatch and

spring up so that the bread can be removed.

As soon as the toasting begins, the Cancel Button will light up. If the bread has been

toasted to satisfaction, the process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the Cancel

Button.

HOW TO DEFROST (SEE PAGE 2)

In case of frozen bread, defrost mode will thaw the bread to the preset level.

1.  Set the level using the Control Knob.

2.  Press the Carriage Lever down until it latches into place.

3.  Press the Defrost Button.

HOW TO REHEAT (SEE PAGE 2)

In case of toasted bread that has cooled down, reheat mode can be used to warm it up

again. Reheating time is fixed, so it cannot be influenced by using the Control Knob.

1.  Press the Carriage Lever down until it latches into place.

2.  Press the Reheat Button.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.

Wipe the outside clean using a soft dry cloth once the toaster has cooled down. Do not

use metal polish.

Pull the Crumb Tray Handle to remove the Crumb Tray, and empty it. In case of frequent

use, the crumbs should be removed at least once per week. Make sure the tray is correctly

replaced before using the appliance again.

To avoid damage, make sure no moisture enters the appliance while cleaning, and never

use aggressive cleaning agents.

STORAGE

Store the product in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight.

When storing or simply not using the toaster, use the cable winder at the bottom to neatly

put away the cable.
