10.4 SNMP Settings
The SNMP gives users independence from the proprietary network management schemes of
some manufacturers and SNMP is supported by many WAN and LAN manufacturers enabling
true LAN/ WAN management integration.
To set the SNMP function, move the mouse cursor to select
‘Hardware Monitor’
in the left
tree node and choose ‘
SNMP Settings
’ tab. The Raid System SNMP Function menu will show
all items. Click on ‘
Edit
’ button to select the desired function.
10.5 Restart
The feature allows you to restart the controller. Select
‘RAID Model’
in the left tree node
and choose ‘
System
’ tab. Click on ‘
Restart
’ button to restart the RAID controller.
10.6 Set Faulty
To set disk faulty function, move the mouse cursor to select
‘RAID Model’
in the left tree
node and choose ‘
Slot List
’ tab. Choose the disk from the disks pool and click on ‘
Set
Faulty
’ button to degrade the selected disk.
NOTE: Set disk faulty could cause unrecoverable damage for some
RAID levels.
