Dismantling the DHW heat exchanger

The DHW exchanger is pressed against the hydraulic unit with 2 brackets.

P

To remove the plate heat exchanger:

- Isolate the boiler installation by closing the isolation valves of the fixing jig

- Empty the primary circuit through the drain valve

- Open a hot water cock of the installation

- Once the boiler drained, unscrew the 2 brackets and remove them.

The exchanger can then be removed.

During reassembly, check the mounting direction (the exchanger is marked on the edge, forward). While the exchanger is 

disassemblied, clean the heating filter (see exploded view in next page). Check that the gaskets are in place on the hydraulic unit.
