Stop tractor and turn off the engine, immobilise the tractor and trailer with parking
brake.
If during test run worrying symptoms occur such as:
•
excessive noise and abnormal sounds originating from the rubbing of moving
elements,
•
leaky brake system, hydraulic oil leaks,
•
incorrect operation of brake cylinders,
•
other faults,
stop operating the trailer and do not operate it until the malfunction is corrected. If a fault
cannot be rectified or the repair could void the warranty, please contact retailer for additional
clarifications or to perform the repair.
4.1.4 PREPARING THE TRAILER FOR EVERYDAY OPERATION
DANGER
Careless and incorrect use and operation of the trailer, and non-compliance
with the recommendations given in this operator's manual is dangerous to your
health.
The machine must never be used by persons, who are not authorised to drive
agricultural tractors, including children and people under the influence of
alcohol or other drugs.
Non-compliance with the safety rules of this Operator’s Manual can be
dangerous to the health and life of the operator and others.
Scope of inspection activities
•
Visually inspect if the tyres are properly inflated. In case of doubt, carefully check
tyre pressure.
•
Check technical condition of drawbar eye.
•
Check correctness of electrical system operation.
•
Check technical condition and completeness of safety guards.
•
Install the slow-moving vehicle warning sign - if the trailer is used on public roads.
