RESIDUAL RISK
Pronar Sp. z o. o. in Narew has made every effort to eliminate the risk of accidents. There is,
however, a certain residual risk, which could lead to an accident, and this is connected
mainly with the actions described below:
•
using the machine for purposes other than those for which it is intended,
•
being between the tractor and the machine while the engine is running and when
the machine is being attached,
•
being on the machine while the engine is running,
•
operating the machine with removed or faulty safety guards,
•
not maintaining safe distance from the danger zone or being within the zones while
the machine is operating,
•
operation of the machine by persons under the influence of alcohol,
•
cleaning, maintenance and technical checks when tractor is connected and engine
is running,
•
using unreliable PTO shaft,
The residual risk may be kept to a minimum by following the recommendations below:
•
operate the machine in prudent and unhurried manner,
•
reasonably apply all the remarks and recommendations stated in the Operator's
Manual,
•
carry out repair and maintenance work in line with operating safety rules,
•
carrying out repair and maintenance work by persons trained to do so,
•
use close fitting protective clothing,
•
ensure unauthorised persons have no access to the machine, especially children,
•
maintain a safe distance from forbidden or dangerous places
•
do not climb on the machine when it is operating
