Configuring UPS Support 

Clicking the 

UPS Options

 heading from the Configuration Menu will display the current 

UPS setting for your ConnectStor II. The unit will recognize the use of an APC-compatible 
uninterruptible power supply in its internal operating system.  
Note that the default for this setting is 

Disabled

, as shown below in the information panel. 

 

Enabling UPS 

1.

 

If using an UPS subsystem to provide power to ConnectStor II, click the Enable 

Uninterruptible Power Supply

 radio button in the main information panel. The 

screen below will appear: 

 

2.

 

Enter the number of minutes that you want ConnectStor II to continue to operate 
after a power outage is detected. This should provide enough time for all users to 
save or retrieve data so that no data is lost. 

3.

 

Click the 

Submit

 button. A confirmation window will appear. 

4.

 

Click 

OK

 to confirm.
